On February 21st, the China Geographic Information Industry Association held a symposium on geographic information private enterprises in Beijing. Comrades introduced the key work of the Ministry of Natural Resources in the field of geographic information in 2025, focusing on increasing the construction of the geographic information data market, improving the management of map classification and grading review, further expanding geographic information public services, accelerating the construction of geographic information service export bases, and continuing to vigorously promote the high-quality development of the geographic information industry.

Li Weisen pointed out at the meeting that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a symposium on private enterprises, which was very timely and important, and further pointed out the direction for the development of the geographic information industry, which greatly encouraged us and doubled our confidence.   We must study seriously, promote and implement. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his speech that the basic principles and policies of the Party and the state for the development of the private economy have been incorporated into the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. Private enterprises and other ownership enterprises can use various resource elements equally in accordance with the law and participate in various competitions fairly. Private enterprises have broad prospects for future development, and we must have firm confidence, overcome difficulties, and achieve new breakthroughs. Secondly, we must leverage our strengths and strive hard. The achievements of private enterprises are closely related to their mechanisms. It is necessary to deeply summarize and fully utilize innovative and incentive mechanisms that are conducive to the development of private enterprises, and continuously deepen reforms and innovate internal management. Private entrepreneurs should constantly strive, continue to explore, leverage their own advantages, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of their enterprises. We need to identify the direction and transform and upgrade. Faced with many problems in the process of industrial development, enterprises need to further enhance their confidence in development and overcome current difficulties.
