The first shot of the "National Tour" was fired in the college GIS skills competition! First stop: Changjiang University
On the morning of June 27th at 10:00 AM, a deep exchange event focused on the GIS field was enthusiastically launched at Yangtze University. The 17th National University GIS Skills Competition in 2025 - "Campus Tour Series" has officially kicked off!
Since the demand research phase, this event has received close attention from relevant universities across the country. Based on the actual needs of faculty and students from various institutions, the competition organizing committee has carefully planned the schedule for each stage of promotional training.
The "Campus Tour" initiative by Zondy Digital has partnered with Yangtze University to promote the university GIS skills competition and provide relevant skill training to students. Senior technical personnel from Zondy Digital, along with leaders, teachers, and students from Yangtze University, attended the event to jointly inject vitality into GIS talent cultivation.

During the skills training session, educational training experts and senior technical support staff from Zondy Digital delivered courses packed with practical knowledge to the students. Combining actual project requirements, the organizing committee provided in-depth explanations around core skills such as GIS software operation and data processing analysis, while guiding students through hands-on practice on-site, promptly answering questions, and helping students quickly master key GIS skills.

Yangtze University also attached great importance to this event. Vice Dean Hu Zhonggui of the School of Earth Sciences stated during the activity that this university-enterprise collaboration provided students with a rare learning opportunity, which would help enhance their practical abilities and employment competitiveness. The school will actively support student participation in the GIS Skills Competition to promote deep integration between professional education and industry demands. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Feng Shu also emphasized that he hopes such activities will further strengthen students' professional awareness and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning.

This "Campus Tour" event genuinely enhanced the GIS professional competence of Yangtze University students through professional skills training.
